| Description: | After being a huge personal fan of Jim Ball's Pinot Noirs over the past few years, I was a little apprehensive when tasting his first Chardonnay. All I can say is, wow. This is a tremendous effort. Made by world renowned winemaker Greg La Follette, this wine has tremendous depth and a vivacious character. Minerality, bright fruit, oak, and intensity from the moment it hits your lips all the way through the long, luxurious finish. I have to say, this might be my favorite effort from Jim Ball to date. Aged in 100% French Oak, 10% new. 100% Chardonnay. |
