| Description: | A blend of vineyards from Altamira (70%) and Los Chacayes (30%), this is a pure fruit juice, clear in its expression of variety, and in the notes of flowers and herbs. The palate is tense with lots of texture and fine, sharp tannins. 30% of the wine was aged in barrels, and the rest in concrete, which seems to back the fruit, the exuberance of the flavors, the intensity, and the acidity. A malbec that is like a photograph of the variety in modern times, now far from being over-ripe and excessively oaky. |
