A lot of minerals on the palate, which lift up the darker fruit and freshens the whole experience. Dried rose comes through as well. Nice fine-grained tannins. Energetic. Drink now or hold. Stuart Pigott. An utterly delightful blend of 50% Zweigelt, 35% Blaufrankisch, and 15% St. Laurent. Unfined, unfiltered and with low sulphur. This expressive, light-bodied wine is very similar to Pinot Noir in terms of taste and elegance. There are delicate cherry notes on the finish along with dark berries and pomegranite. Serve lightly chilled. "Aus Den Dorfern" = "From the villages." |
