| Description: | Winemaker Notes\r\n\r\n\r\nAromas of ripe blue fruits and berry compote are complemented by herbal and floral aromas of garrigue and dried lavender. Concentrated plum and dark fruit flavors give way to mountain spices and dried herbs. A persistent backbone of tannin and acidity adds structure, balance and a lengthy finish on the palate. This Grenache based blend with Syrah, Carignan, and Mourv\u00e8dre shows bewitching aromas of charcuterie, heather, and black cherry. Spiced rhubarb washes over the palate as sweet tobacco threads through the plush, full-bodied texture. Dark chocolate melts on a sheath of beet, wildflowers, and briar.
