| Description: | WE 90 Pts - Winemakers Notes - The 2009 Fogdog Chardonnay boasts an abundance of flintiness and aromas of apple, pear, almonds, citrus and stone fruits. This wine is full-bodied, yet elegant and restrained, with a core of acidity and minerality that is balanced by warm flavors of pear tart and almond crisp along with notes of lemon and tangerine zest. Subtle oak influences of toasted nuts and vanilla round out the experience while balancing the fruit. Rated 90+. According to Wine Enthusiast - Another rich Chardonnay from Fogdog, which has a great track record. Crisp in coastal acidity, it's enormously rich in pineapple, lime, buttered toast, crème brûlée and cinnamon spice flavors.
