| Description: | Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Malbec. This "Rosso della casa" is a mid-bodied expression of the Veneto's historic production of Bordeaux blends. It's relatively soft, with caressing tannin. Aged for 18 months in Slavonian oak, which is more reflective of the Italian tradition. "Aromas of cassis, tobacco and herbs. Rich and sumptuous on the palate, the Rosso balances tangy acidity and fine, food-friendly tannins with a dense core of black cherry, plum and black currant fruit. Delicious notes of licorice, pipe tobacco and dark chocolate emerge on the wines long finish alongside complex hints of herbs and earthy mushrooms. The its lack of obvious oak influence makes the wine especially suitable for hearty braises, roasts and grilled meats.
