| Description: | Organically Farmed. 65% Sangiovese, 15% Sagrantino, 10% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. This medium-full-bodied Montefalco is very "Mediterranean" with 'baked earth' character, bold red fruits and sun-kissed skins; slightly rustic, with smoothed out edges, lightly chewy with a moderately long, dry finish. This is perfect for grilled sausages and of course tomato-based pasta dishes!. "Organic fertilizer, grass cover between the rows, correct management of the land and foliage, direct exposure of the grapes to the sun and low yields per hectare are some of the agricultural practices that we undertake day after day to reach our objectives. All these actions are in harmony with the philosophy of the Romanelli Nature project, which rejects chemical fertilizers, insecticides and herbicides and strives to maintain the balance of the ecosystem with the installation of artificial nests." - Winery Notes.
